Hi I’m Kaye Ford! AKA Fordtography
I’m an Award Winning photographer. I won Photography Creator of the Year 2022 at the BCreator (formerly Blogosphere) Awards.
I’m based in High Wycombe, just 30 mins outside of London and I shoot a lot in my flat for personal shoots or product shoots if you want a homely vibe to your content! I happily travel for shoots whether it be London, Manchester or further afield.
I used to have really bad cystic acne until I went on roaccutane, however the side effects of that drug were brutal for me and so I hate seeing it glorified on social media as the holy grail cure. I now shoot a lot of imagery unretouched to normalise real skin, skin texture, acne skin, eczema, any other skin ‘condition’. It all started with my passion project ‘Good Skinfluence’ and has since led me to shoot real skin campaigns for brands such as Superdrug, Deviant Skincare, Tolpa, as well as brands that don’t retouch their imagery at all such as Tangle Teezer.
I’m great at shooting real people with skin that is seen as ‘flawed’ as I can relate and I’ve often had feedback about how comfortable and safe I make people feel, especially as baring your skin for all to see in a campaign can be a daunting step for some people!
My dream is to have a campaign appear in real life in stores or on billboards.
I love shooting events for brands and PRs so do consider me for your next event! I gained my experience by shooting London Fashion Week backstage for Notion magazine when I was fresh out of uni. I’m great at capturing those candid moments as well as fun portraits with any products for maximum social share-a-bility.
